Started over 40 years ago by a few like-minded patrons of the Collingwood Hotel, Collo Golf was founded to foster camaraderie and friendship. New members can expect a truly welcoming and inclusive experience, where the joy of golf is shared among friends, both old and new.
The legend of Collo Golf begins
Every great club has a great origin story, and ours is no different. It's said that the Collingwood Hotel Social Golf Club started as a friendly dare between a few mates. After a few too many beers, a bet was made on who could hit the ball the furthest. From that playful challenge, a legacy of friendly competition and lasting bonds was born.
